About Us
About Us
Custom Cabinetry. Timeless Craftsmanship. Personal Service.
Located in Taylors, South Carolina, we bring decades of hands-on cabinetmaking experience to every project. Our goal is to make the custom cabinetry process simple and personal, helping homeowners turn their ideas into practical, beautifully crafted spaces.
Our Story
A Tradition of Craftsmanship Since 1978
Neighborhood Cabinetry & Woodworking is built on a passion for woodworking and a commitment to doing things right. Our founder, Chris Young, began building cabinets in 1978 and has spent decades developing his skills in cabinetmaking and teaching the woodworking trade.
That experience continues to guide our approach today. We understand that quality cabinetry requires more than attractive finishes. It takes careful measurements, thoughtful planning, dependable construction, and attention to the details that make everyday life easier.
We bring that knowledge directly to homeowners, offering personalized cabinetry solutions without the impersonal experience of a big-box store.
